Pat Ann Black

Watercolor

The local artist, Pat Ann Black has been painting in watercolors for twenty years.  She states that the luminosity of watercolors lured her into the medium.  Pat Ann feels that rather than painting particular subjects, she paints using a particular palette. Her paintings are representational in style, conveying a mood that draws in the viewer.

Pat Ann work has been exhibited in regional, national, and
international juried shows.  Her work can be seen at the Frontier Museum on Fort Leavenworth, Northland Exposure Gallery, 110 Main Street, Parkville, MO and River Gallery at Sallys Choice.  Several pieces of her worked can be viewed on www.northlandartists.com and www.mowart.com.

The artist is on the faculty of the Carnegie Art Center in Leavenworth where she teaches watercolor workshops several times a year.
