Gene Young

Oil and Sculpture

Gene now paints with water-soluble oils after using oils paints for 50 years. He likes using water, getting away from the Turpentine smell.

Gene studied commercial art from the Famouse Artists School in Westport Conn., the Kansas City Art Institute, Portrait Painting from Harry Fredman and Frank Szasz. He founded the Young Sign Company.

Gene is now doing several sculpture commissions in bronze.
